Creditor E-Applications
The Commercial Law reform had been completed by 3 January 2005. However, about 23,000 companies have not reregistered, and the Register has suspended their operations. The non-reregistered companies are being gradually published in the newspaper Latvijas Vēstnesis. Within 3 (three) months time since publication, their creditors can submit claims to the Enterprise Register (UR), and the liquidation process for these companies is started. If creditor claims are not received, the non-reregistered companies are excluded from the Register.
